Android Users of Alexa Can Now Link to the Tuya App

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 22nd, 2020 – Global AI+IoT leader Tuya Smart today announced full Android support for Alexa app-to-app account linking. This integration allows Android users of the Tuya app to seamlessly connect to Alexa in a simple two-step flow, whether starting from the Tuya app or the Alexa app.

Tuya is one of the first Amazon partners to support Alexa app-to-app account linking on Android devices, allowing the best possible experience for Powered by Tuya brands and customers.

This announcement builds on Tuya's collaboration with Amazon, as integration with the Alexa voice service has been a part of Tuya's global leading AI+IoT platform for smart home devices since its launch to allow for voice control of Powered by Tuya devices.

Tuya's support of Alexa app-to-app account linking on Android devices is already enabled and will be rolled out to Tuya platform customers immediately.
